The complete reference: colour, type, the क mark in every colorway, the pattern system, and voice. Built for consistency across every tool this identity passes through.
क is the first letter of Hindi, and the first letter of Kaush's own name. The move follows Ankit Savla's (OPE Innovation Lab) treatment of एra for Era Architects, featured in Kaush's own book, Vernacular Branding, co-authored with her father, Bhuleshwar Mate. This identity is deliberately short-lived: the freelance practice closes end of 2026, when Kaush relocates to India and IDRVN Private Limited (its own Devanagari mark, इ) takes over.
Just Call Kaush voice. Practitioner, not persona. Says the thing plainly.
Every design decision has a reason that precedes the aesthetics.
No generic claims. Every course, every product, built for a defined situation.
Everything is design. Everything is architecture. Hans Hollein.
Acid Lime is the signal colour on dark surfaces. Lemon Green is its readable counterpart on light surfaces. Three theme accents mark the three areas of work.
Gloock carries headlines. Manrope carries everything meant to be read quickly. Rozha One is for the mark's Devanagari context only, not yet extended to running text.
All body text, navigation, labels, buttons. Weights: 200 for eyebrows on dark, 300 for body, 500 for labels, 600 for CTAs, 700 for emphasis only. Never 800 in UI.
Currently scoped to the logomark only. Not used in headlines, body copy, or UI at this time.
Constructed geometric form, not a set font glyph, built in the same split-letterform logic as Vernacular Branding's own identity.
Eight tiles, all built from the same construction as the mark, for backgrounds and print without repeating the logo itself.
A practitioner's directness, sharpened toward a Better Call Saul cadence for brand and identity work specifically. Short sentences. No hedging. Plain claims backed by specifics.
Leverage. Solutions. Innovative. Best-in-class. Journey. Empower.
